When I first started my blog, I tracked how well new recipes turned out by giving them an overall rating. All of these ratings are subjective. I took into consideration many factors when deciding how to rate each recipe. Some of these factors include how easy it is to make the recipe, how many ingredients the recipe calls for, how easy it is to find and purchase the ingredients, how long it takes (from start to finish) to make the recipe, how healthy (or unhealthy) the recipe is, how the final product looks, and how the final product tastes. I very rarely gave a 5 out of 5 rating to recipes that are high in calories or fat and/or have very few nutritional benefits, even if it is an outstanding recipe in all other regards. These ratings were meant as an overall guideline for choosing which recipes to try (and make again). I no longer rate the recipes that I post because I only want to provide recipes that I would recommend that you make-thus, all of the recipes I post have high ratings!
