This Hawaiian Chicken recipe is one of the easiest and tastiest recipes I've made in a while. With only three ingredients and a crock pot required, you can throw this dish together in less than 5 minutes and have dinner ready after an afternoon of getting everything on your to-do list done. Serving this recipe over rice was absolutely delicious, but you can also eat this in a wrap, over quinoa, or in a salad.
Hawaiian Chicken
(4-5 servings)
1 lb boneless, skinless chicken tenders
1 jar Newman's Own Pineapple Salsa
1 20-ounce can pineapple chunk, reserve juice
Salt and pepper
Pour half of the salsa and half of the pineapple chunks and juice in the bottom of a crock pot. Season chicken with salt and pepper and add to crock pot. Pour the remaining salsa and pineapple chunks and juice over top of chicken. Cook on low for 4-6 hours. Chicken will be very tender--shred or chop. Serve over cooked rice.
