Guacamole Hummus

Do you love hummus? Do you love guacamole? Well look no further, because this Guacamole Hummus is one of the best dips you will ever make. Adapted from an Avocado Hummus recipe found on C+C Marriage Factory, this super easy and flavorful recipe takes less than 10 minutes to prep and assemble and will no doubt be a huge crowd pleaser. Store any leftovers in the refrigerator for up to a week for the perfect afternoon snack.

Avocado Hummus from C+C Marriage Factory
Guacamole Hummus
(Serves 8-10)

1 16-ounce can chickpeas, drained
2-3 ripe avocados, pitted and sliced
Juice of 1 lemon
2-3 tsp minced garlic
1/4 cup water
1/8 tsp cumin
salt and pepper to taste
3 Tbsp olive oil
Cilantro and paprika to garnish

Place chickpeas, avocados, lemon juice, garlic, and water in a blender. Pulse until blended. Add cumin, salt, and pepper. Pulse to combine; taste and adjust seasonings as necessary. Keep blender on and slowly drizzle in olive oil. Continue blending until ingredients are combined and the hummus has a smooth consistency. Put hummus in a serving bowl, garnish with cilantro and paprika, and serve with pita chips and vegetables.

  1. Tried this recipe. Left out the water and only used 1/2 tsp of garlic (can't do much garlic- tummy issues). This is AMAZING. Thank you so much for posting. Wonderful fresh twist on both guac and hummus!
